Globally, data centres account for 2% of the world’s carbon emissions. With scientists estimating data centres will consume around 20% of the world’s electricity by 2025, the growth in carbon emissions is going to increase at a rapid rate.
DC-H2 will look to overcome this challenge by developing hydrogen fuel cells specifically designed for data centres, which are viewed as one of the most economically viable, clean solutions for decarbonising this high emitting industry.
